I have chosen to study the transition between temporary and permanent housing with disaster relief used for hurricanes. For the purpose of this proposal, I define permanent as the final construction of the home. Due to the nature of hurricanes, nothing is truly permanent. I will address the question of how a temporary and immediate shelter can become a home. This proposal includes two phases. The first phase includes a basic shelter. The second phase is a home that would be built off the original shelter.
