Integrated Lifestyle Housing, Allston, Massachusetts Bell Arch Design 2 Studio, Fall 2007 Bell Arch Design 2 studio students In responding to the notion of variable committment housing, this project was designed ot integrate people of different income, orientation and culture. Through developing their intital courtyard layout, they created a curves enclave which provides opportunities for interaction among the residents, people in the complex and from outside. PROJECT 1: the design of a “single” house and work spaces for multiple dwellers on an urban site with a garden.
