School of Architecture 5th year final project publication
This project explores the relationship between Topography and Climate; providing guidelines to successfully design an architecture with localenvironmental characteristics in mind. A design proposal for a hotel/lodge at the Lake Louise Ski Area, located in Lake Louise, Alberta, is the vehicle which drives this exploration. This design captures the essence of snows-ports while framing the “Quiet Nature” of the Canadian Rockies.
