Lim Anapat Limnay Anapat; St. Georgi Vank'; Hermitage of St. George; Ctouts Unknown Hermitages Islands Monasteries Churches Narthexes The Hermitage of St. George on Lim Island in Lake Van Turkey once consisted of the mian church, a gavit or zamatun, a chapel dedicated to St. Sion and a bell tower. The zamatun was attached to the west wall of the church and the chapel of St. Sion was attached ot the north wall of the zamatun and the bell tower to the north wall. To the east of the complex are the ruins of a large cemetery, and to the southeast, a series of monk's cells, a guest house and an ice house.
