This thesis is about reintegrating horses into the city. A hundred years agohorses were very much a part of the city life; now they are not. How can humansand horses coexist in some of the densest places? The project takesinto account horse traits and behaviors as well as the horse-human interactions. These interactions are developed to understand how the horses andhumans can share spaces and how spaces need to be formed to meet theirneeds. Keeping horses in a congested area will have many difficulties and thisthesis aims to find ways to allow the juxtaposition and interaction of the horse, human, and city.
