The compilation of units and unit structures in such a way that they themselves become the buildings, as opposed to the buildings creating the spaces is a technique not frequently viewed int he United States. The goal: to invent a city-like community within the walls of a larger metropolis. PROJECT 1: the design of a “single” house and work spaces for multiple dwellers on an urban site with a garden. PROJECT 2: the design of a housing complex of approximately 20 – 25 units on an urban site. School of Architecture.
