This project is about inhabiting and becoming part of land. It is very much about re-establishing a lost connection between the natural environment and the built environment. The goal is to design with a close connection to the natural and cultural landscape, rather than “eradicating the living environment” and blanketing the landscape with brute force. The design will take a rich mix of considerations and desires and turn them into something that offers an effective inhabitation condition that is both sensitive and scientifically enhanced by the natural energies that flow amidst its presence. The resulting community and landscape will offer a much more enhanced lively hood for those who belong as part of it, and create an inhabitable community that celebrates our cultural and natural pleasures
